What is the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation?
The CBCF Vision: We envision a world in which all communities have an equal voice in public policy through leadership cultivation, economic empowerment, and civic engagement.
The CBCF Mission: Our mission at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF) is to advance the global Black community by developing leaders, informing policy, and educating the public.

Facilitating the exchange of ideas and information to address critical issues affecting our communities.
Promoting public health and financial empowerment for all communities through innovative programs.
Providing leadership development and scholarship opportunities to educate the next generation of leaders.

What is the Annual Mervyn L. & Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Scholarship Classic?
The Mervyn L. & Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Scholarship Classic is the premier, annual fundraiser of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Incorporated (CBCF) CBC Spouses General Education Scholarship Program. Named in honor of the late Representative Stephanie Tubbs Jones and spouse, Mervyn L. Jones, the proceeds provide financial support to deserving students across the nation.
Do I need to register to attend?
Yes, all attendees must be fully registered to attend. The registration deadline is Friday, June 25th. Space is limited and registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
Registrations received after Thursday, June 25th will be placed on a waiting list for the tournament registration. Foursome assignments will be determined by the confirmed participation date. Commitments past June 25th may not be possible and may not receive optimal placement.
How much does it cost to attend?
Tennis Tournament Single Player: $500
Single Foursome: $7,500
Individual Golfers: $750
Spectators: $500.

What is the Lansdowne Resort?

What are the parking options on site at the resort?
Self-parking is available with no parking fee. Valet parking is available for a fee.
Is there a hotel block for this event?
Yes. Please do not book directly with the hotel, as specific rooms and rates have been secured for CBCF guests. Hotel booking information will be provided in your confirmation email once you register. Each attendee is responsible for reserving and purchasing their room to attend the event. Rooms must be booked by May 19, 2026 to qualify for the special CBCF rate. The hotel room, parking, and incidentals are not included in the event registration.

By registering for and attending the Mervyn L. & Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Scholarship Classic, you acknowledge that there are health and safety risks associated with participating in any public events and that you understand and accept those risks. As a condition of registering for and attending the event, you agree to release, waive, hold harmless, and forever discharge any and all liability, claims, and demands against the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc., its employees, directors, officers, sponsors, and agents (the “Released Parties”), either in law or in equity, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, including but not limited to damages or losses caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties, arising from your participation in the event.
